How to Setup Stalker Portal on MAG Box

Compatible with MAG 250, 254, 322, 421, 424, 524, and Linux Set-Top Boxes

1

Locate Your MAG Box MAC Address

  1. Turn over your MAG Box and locate the sticker on the underside of the device.
  2. Find the MAC Address string (Format: 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX).
  3. Provide this MAC address to your service provider during subscription ordering or trial activation.
Important: Stalker Portal services are hardware-bound to your MAC address. If the MAC address on your provider account does not match your box, the portal will fail to load.
2

Access System Settings

  1. Power on your MAG Box without a network cable or boot into the main inner portal screen.
  2. Select Settings from the home menu.
  3. Go to System Settings and select Portals.
3

Configure Stalker Portal Credentials

  1. In the Portals configuration screen, enter your credentials:
    • Portal 1 Name: Enter any descriptive name (e.g., IPTV Service).
    • Portal 1 URL: Enter the Stalker Portal URL sent in your activation email (e.g., http://domain.com:8080/c/).
  2. Leave Portal 2 blank unless configured for a backup server.
  3. Select Save to store the configuration.
4

Reboot & Load Channels

  1. Return to System Settings and select Restart Portal (or disconnect and reconnect power).
  2. Wait for the yellow loading bar to complete.
  3. Your Live Channels, EPG TV Guide, and VOD Video Library will load automatically upon login.

💡 MAG Box Troubleshooting & Fixes

  • "Your STB is Blocked" Error: This means your MAC address is either invalid or expired on your provider's panel. Contact support to verify your MAC status.
  • Page Loading Error / Yellow Bar Hangs: Double-check the Portal URL syntax. Ensure you included the trailing slash (/c/) if required by your provider.
  • Set NTP Server for Correct EPG Time: Go to System Settings > Servers > NTP and set the server to pool.ntp.org to fix incorrect EPG time offsets.
